CLOISONNE: Ancient Chinese pattern-forming technique, on brass surfaces, using colored enamels inside a relief pattern of metallic partitions. On the bronze surface, vertically thin brass strips are welded according to the outline of the desired pattern. The resulting cavities are filled with powder enamel, mixed with pigments. The object is baked in special ovens and finally polished..
Wire technique or Filigrana or Filigree is called the construction made of wires worked in a handmade way. These wires are twisted together like a tress, and often stick to a motif created on a charcoal slab. This pattern has gaps, and the whole construction looks very light. Again, the wires are stuck on a sheet of metal. Then add greens, balls, chains, handmade leaflets, or stones and whatever the artist thinks fit to complete his construction.
